Our ANA Treatments Portsmouth Drug and Alcohol Rehab has been expertly developed to help our clients tackle their drug and alcohol issues, whilst rebuilding resilience and confidence in all aspects of their lives. Our ultimate aim is to get all of our clients on the road to recovery as quickly as possible.

Portsmouth drug and alcohol rehab – the process explained

ANA offers a number of detoxification programmes, addiction treatments, and abstinence-based primary treatment programmes for alcoholism and drug addiction. We have vast experience in helping our clients actively rebuild their lives, supporting them every step of the way.

Helping them to gain in confidence and realise their self-worth, we provide bespoke treatment with the intentions of helping our clients live a healthy, responsible and productive life, free of addictive substances.

We offer a range of different solutions and the programme that is right for you will depend on your unique needs.

Detoxification rehab treatment

We provide detoxification from drugs and alcohol under the supervision of a GP and a nurse, giving clients the opportunity to live life free from substances.

When under our care, clients are provided with accommodation and, in some instances, we also encourage them to have a roommate for their own safety. We find this is especially important during the first couple of days whilst they adapt to their new surroundings and the structured treatment programme.

Primary rehab treatment

Once your needs have been assessed, the right method of treatment will be agreed. Our primary treatment programmes feature the following:

  • Accommodation, laundry facilities and leisure activities
  • One-to-one sessions with key workers
  • A care plan, updated with progress and individual needs
  • Life skills and tools needed for continued recovery
  • Group therapy with peers. This starts with the exploration of the disease model of addiction
  • Individuals will present their life-story and written step-work
  • AA, NA and CA will attend ANA to provide private meetings for our clients during the week
  • Workshops covering topics that are often client led and include relapse prevention, relationships, The 12 Steps, family dynamics and conflict resolution, among others
  • Regular drug testing
  • Personalised medical regime if required
  • A graduation ceremony upon completion of your Primary Treatment Programme

Secondary rehab treatment

Our secondary treatments involve applying the tools learned in primary treatment and developing them into strategies for lifelong living and abstinence.

Following a secondary assessment, our clients will live independently with other peers in ANA’s centrally located houses as they embark on the second stage of their treatment process.

Of course, all clients will have an individual care plan to identify their practical, emotional and therapeutic needs.
